Cottage Profile

This is an ideal four-season private cottage/home of 3,700 square feet, situated on the waterfront of Georgian Bay on the scenic Bruce Peninsula.

This log cottage/home is nestled in the trees over looking the clear blue water of the bay.

Inside the cottage is a large livingroom with a stone fireplace, with two couchs, a chair, television and large windows facing the lake.

Adjacent to the living room area is the kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave oven.

A nice feature of this cottage is the spaceous deck off the kitchen with table and chairs and a barbeque. This is a nice place to enjoy the outdoors.

The cottage has three bedrooms, with two queensize and two twin beds. There are also 3 washrooms, two of which are 3 piece baths.

The cottage also has a smaller deck attached to the master bedroom. Both decks get the morning sun, ideal for watching the fabulous sun rises.

The Bruce Peninsula offers many attractions for every taste. The Bruce Trail is located nearby and provides some of the most spectacular hiking in North America. For the diver, there is Fathom Five National Marine Park, which includes 22 shipwrecks and several historic lightstations. For the adventerous bike enthusiasts, there is Mountain Bike The Bruce Adventure Park or just bring your bikes to explore the Bruce while saving the environment. The Peninsula is also the home of Ontario’s Largest Natural Limestone Cavesfor your inquisitive side. The Bruce is also especially suited for those that want to horseback ride, boat, fish, swim, golf, snowmobile, ski, rock climb or something a little more relaxing like touring the lighthouses, exploring the flora and fona or just sitting back and letting the wildlife and birds come and explore you. For family fun, go fly a kite on the shores of Georgian Bay or Lake Huron. Take advantage of the wide open spaces to add a splash of colour to the summer sky. (Note: Avoid areas with power lines!) Also, the Bruce Peninsula is one of only two areas left in Ontario without light pollution, which makes it ideally suited for star gazing. Spread out a blanket, stretch out under the stars, and observe the mystery of the night skies. Remember to wear insect repellent.
